Community Life

At New Leaf Church, community takes on many forms, including men's, women's and coed bible studies, intentional living, service, or just coffee at the Bagel Place.

In our disconnected, disfragmented society, where neighbors don't know each other or fellow church members don't know each other's names, much less their stories, we are seeking something different, something kind of old.

We read stories about the early church, and we think, “They had something right.”

We read stories about the first monastic communities, and we think, “They had something right.”

We remember our childhood or we've heard about our parents childhood when kids road their bikes around the block and were friends with other kids. When neighbors would ask each other for favors—because they knew each other's names. Now, that wasn't so long ago.

We look around and see little seedlings, evidence of what God is doing in our world, among us imperfect humans, drawing us into relationship with God and each other.

We invite you become neighbors, friends, and partners with us in working for the Kingdom of God.
