Liturgy & Arts

Liturgy is literally the work of the people.

That's why at each New Leaf service, you are invited to contribute to the words & art offered to glorify God. In family time, we gather together to share our stories and pray for one another & the wider community. Later, after the day's teaching (in the form of sermon or something else), we talk over the message together. What don't we understand? How does the teaching apply? What concepts do we find troubling? Reassuring?

Then, we have time to reflect on the day's teaching and to spend time with God in quiet meditation time. You may worship by lighting a candle, kneeling in prayer, or maybe naming a blessing you've been given or a struggle you've been having through words or pictures.

If you are an artist of any kind and would like to imagine with others how to glorify God through your work, please contact Amy at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
