Teaching

Each Sunday, we listen for what God might have to say to us as we read God's word together. Typically, there will be a time of teaching by Pastor Jason Mack or someone else. We enjoy learning from different people and value the wisdom of different perspectives.

After a sermon, you’ll usually find a time of discussion. In addition to spiritual growth through teaching, we love to learn from one another, whether people share, encourage, and affirm, or whether they doubt, question, or disagree. You’ll find diverse opinions on theological issues here, and you’ll find that we welcome that diversity and believe that God can handle it. By honestly sharing our experiences and ideas and bringing our whole selves before Christ, we hope to be more fully renewed by God's love.

Whoever is or isn’t giving a sermon on Sunday, Jason serves as pastor and curator of our times of teaching and discussion, helping us to return to the message of the good news of God’s love for all people, and to be re-sent into the world as agents of God's love.
