On a typical Sunday at New Leaf Church, you will find different people, probably wearing jeans, experimenting to try to help each other encounter and worship God in new and old ways, through music, teaching, meditation, and liturgy.

Although you might hear some familiar songs at New Leaf and notice a couple of the same folks playing their guitars, we try to stretch ourselves to worship with diverse styles, since God transcends all culture and history. We hope that at New Leaf Church, you will be able to use your unique gifts to make the reality of God more apparent through creative worship, whether your talents are in writing, speaking, art, poetry, dance, music, or anything else.

We glorify God when we express ourselves honestly in God's presence. So we want to use music and other art to express ourselves to God, like the Psalms in the scriptures do: to praise, to thank, to ask for what we need, to confess, to complain, to lament; to be quiet and listen and be joyful and celebrate.
